Research Wars

A Research Site for the World Wars and more

"You fight 'em and I'll write 'em." -- John McCullough, summer 2011.

This research website will detail all of my on-going research primarily on the World Wars but also including other related conflicts.

Much of this work was performed while I researched the Breedlove CPTP history.  Some of this history is related to D-Day in Normandy, France, while other work is related to the training of glider pilots in West Texas and Eastern New Mexico.  One section is devoted to America's last WWI veteran, Mr. Frank Woodruff Buckles of Charles Town, West Virginia whom I visited twice.

Sarah Washington, a teacher in Vermont who found my website, asked me to post this website link on my ResearchWars site.  One of her students found this site during her research of women nurses in WWII.  Sarah's comments were added to my Guestbook tab on Saturday, May 5, 2012.

Click on the third tab, Nurses Through History, for details about women nurses in many wars.
